Theme: Going beyond macroeconomic stabilization: the need for building resilience to external shocks.
Among other topics, the conference will deliberate on the following:
i) COVID-19 and its economy wide impacts;
ii) Reforms to support the recovery (lessons for dealing with future pandemics);
iii) Identifying opportunities for dynamic inclusive growth for Malawi: building economic resilience to external shocks.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The ECAMA Annual Conference will welcome economists, demographers, academia, civil society leaders, policy makers and other key state and non-state actors from a diverse range of disciplines and backgrounds.
CONFERENCE PARTICIPATION FEES
Participation fee (excluding accommodation) for members is at K265,000.00 and K325,000.00 for non-members and K200,000.00 online.
