The Board of Trustees, Executive Members, Secretariat and entire membership of the Economics Association of Malawi(ECAMA) is deeply saddened by the untimely death of its former President and founding member Mr Alimon Mwase.Our heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends, acquaintances and loved ones for the loss.

The late Alimon Mwase had very important attributes which propelled ECAMA to greater heights. His personality was one of promoting teamwork and positive motivation. Late Alimon had a passion for economic transformation and growth through his contributions to the Association. He had an amazing sense of humor and was a gifted storyteller. In his work with the Association, late Alimon was always straight forward and supportive. We will always value his contributions to the success of ECAMA.

May Alimon’s soul rest in eternal peace.
